Always thought the XV20 was particularly classy looking for an economy car. Especially compared to the new one. Really representative of the 90s vs. today. I wouldn't mind one in black with a tan interior. Nice interiors, those. And the sweet 1MZ... I think I'm going crazy.

The XV20 is great and awesome like any 90s Toyota, but just slightly cheapened vs the XV10.
However, I'd avoid the 1MZ because transverse V6's suck in general, and Toyota tilts theirs back so it's even more difficult to work on! Also, the 97-01 1MZ has sludge problems that the 94-96 version didn't have.
If you can find a 5-speed 5S-FE and a sunroof then you're good to go.

False. XV10 is the last one I would even consider buying. My dad had a V6 XLE from 1996 to 2003 and it was excellent until the day it died (with 288k miles on the odo).

The XV10 is definitely superior. The coupes handle pretty nicely, too.

The XV10 is by far the ultimate Camry. I never knew about those sludge problems, though!

How hard is it to find a TRD Supercharger for these motors?

Yup! The XV10 is the best car ever made. I have a 96 ES300.

I could never forget! We have had numerous Camry discussions, haha.

They are pretty rare, I think. But, they make for an easy job once you find one!

I have a XV30, hence the name, and love it.
The 1MZ in mine is sweet, nothing crazy, but pulls hard and is torquey as all hell for a 3 litre. Great mileage too which is nice.
